Communities First – The Future
THE BRG CLUSTER
From April 2013 the Welsh Government funded Communities First initiative will be active in Butetown, South Riverside and Grangetown.
It is one of 4 cluster areas in Cardiff and will be known as BRG. It will be a new programme in many respects but will build on the achievements of Communities First and in particular continue much good work in local communities.
The new programme will focus on three areas Health, Learning and Prosperity and there will be a wide range of opportunities for local people to become involved. These will include help for healthier lifestyles, increased opportunities for learning and self improvement and advice and support for employment.
We will be available and promoting projects from the South Riverside Community Development Centre in Riverside, The Butetown Community Centre in Butetown and the Buzz in Grangetown.
