Stories! Glamorgan Archives – WW1 half-term event

Go behind the scenes and explore Cardiff’s World War 1 history and heritage at three open days across Cardiff!

The drop-in open days at Cardiff University, Cardiff Story Museum and a sneak-peek at the Glamorgan Archives.  Hands-on activities and talks – all open days are free and suitable for adults and families.

30 May – Cardiff University, Special Collections and Archives

31 May – Glamorgan Archives

1 June – Cardiff Story Museum

Food co-op and activities

Come to our new Food Co-op at the Wyndham Diner and enjoy food demos and tasters, do a spot of gardening and during half-term will have some kids activities.

Family sized bags of fresh fruit and vegetables are just £3, eggs (£.90 for half a dozen)and smoothies.

How it works:

Choose from the selection available of fruit/veg/eggs below.

Come on Tuesday from 12pm to collect your bags, and then re-order for the following week.  You can also make a request via email or phone – but you must pay in advance.

Wyndham Street Diner – Winter-Warmer lunch

Today at the The Wyndham Street Diner we have Dementia Friends coming to answer your questions about dementia and alzheimers, and then a three course lunch!

Pop down today for a lovely hot meal and a chat to local people!

If you’d like to get involved, we’re looking for people who can help serve food and provide a friendly smile and make people feel welcome!  If you have health and hygiene qualifications there may be an opportunity to support our trained chef in the kitchen.
