Foodwise – Weight Management Programme

Food Wise® – 8 week Weight management programme

If you’re over the recommended BMI  (Body Mass Index) then this course will help you manage your weight through healthy eating and exercise.

Each session consists of discussion and hands-on activities to help you learn more about portion sizes, food labelling, daily exercise, recipe swaps and longer term plans for weight management.

Get Cycling – Pedal-Power

If you haven’t cycled for a while then the new year is the time to get back on your bike!

For six weeks, we’ll be offering 6 free start-up cycling sessions to improve your health, get you cycling and meet new people.

These will be short, social bike-rides will be mainly on traffic-free routes.  You don’t need a high level of fitness but you must be able to ride a bike.  Pedal-Power can lend you a bike, or bring your own!

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be a professional dancer or working in a theatre?  Come and experience a behind-the-scenes #sneakpeek into a day in the life of a professional dancer – from movement and exercise to the lighting, stage and costume design.

Meet the National Dance Company Wales dancers and have a backstage tour with the technical team that make it all happen.

This is an exciting opportunity to talk to our full-time professional athletes about health and well-being and have a go at warm-up and exercises that the dancers do every day! Learn about the technical aspects of the Dance House and what goes into making a piece of dance for the stage.
