Support for People with Dementia

Invitation to a dementia focus group

Do you care for someone with Dementia? Do you want to get involved and have a say on the long-term services available?

Marie Curie are inviting you to join a focus group and share your concerns and suggestions about the need for support for people with dementia and their carers.

Marie Curie – Listening to you

We believe that everyone should have equal access to all the care and support they need if they are living with a terminal illness. We have just launched a three year project  to look at the needs of people living with a terminal illness, including dementia,  in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.

This focus group will look at the needs of people with dementia and their carers and families. The information gathered will be used to make recommendations to Marie Curie about the changes needed to service provision to improve access for these groups.

Date: Wednesday 17th May 2017
Time: 2:00pm
Location: Social Care Wales, South Gate House, Wood Street, Cardiff, CF10 1EW.

To confirm your attendance or to get more information contact Monica Reardon:  Telephone: 029 2042 6025
