Eat Well, Be Well

Healthy cooking on a budget! Cooking healthy food on a budget is increasingly a challenge for many. That is why we are running local courses to support local people to be able to cook a healthy nutritious meal without feeling out of pocket.




Each FREE course will consist of both health & nutrition advice and practical and theory based cooking skills sessions. The BRG Team works in partnership with the local  health programmes,  suppliers and affordable food initiatives such as Fareshare Cymru and local allotments to source low cost, local ingedients.

This project is run in partnership with the Food Co-op and Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, Dietetics Team, Public Health Wales and Agored CymruThe course is fully supported through the level one “Get Cooking” initiative and each learner who complete the course will gain 2 [Agored Cymru] credits.
