 Adult Learners Week

story telling

Adult Learners’ Week is a campaign which combines national promotion with local action. The campaign offers adults the chance to have a go at learning something new by trying out one of the hundreds of free taster sessions that happen across Wales during the week.

Adult Learners’ Week is a celebration of the benefits of lifelong learning and is the perfect opportunity to explore the many types of learning available to adults in their locality. The event is being coordinated nationwide by NIACE (National Institute of Adult Continuing Education).

Come along to a story telling session with De Dabay.

Two years ago a group of Somali poets from Butetown walked into the National Theatre Wales office and said they wanted to make a show.Their award-winning story begins in Somalia and sails to Cardiff’s Tiger Bay.
