The Club was originally formed from members who regularly fished Llanishen and Lisvane reservoirs until they were closed to public use in 2000. Dwr Cymru (Welsh Water) is currently restoring these reservoirs and it is hoped that they will once again be used for trout fishing when works have been completed.
